Did You Know?

The tool of choice for cutting braided security cables is not bolt cutters or hack saws. Snips are preferred because of the sharp shearing edges. They cut through the outer strands first, working their way all the way through strands until it comes apart. (FYI – the diameter of braided cable doesn’t matter, thicker cable just takes a little longer)
